Downgrading to the Team Edition

When you downgrade from Business to Team, your account will switch to the features and usage limits included with the Team edition. This article explains which users, projects, integrations and features remain available.

Users

During the downgrade process, you’ll select which users to deactivate if your current number of users exceeds the Team plan's user limit. Deactivated users can be reactivated at any time, as long as doing so keeps you within the Team plan's user limit.

Projects

If your number of active projects exceeds the Team plan's project limit, excess projects will be deactivated automatically. Admins can reactivate these projects and deactivate others at any time, as long as the total number of active projects stays within the Team plan's project limit. No project data will be deleted.

Integrations

Any integrations exclusive to the Business plan will stop working after the downgrade. Their existing data will be retained and can be accessed again if you upgrade in the future.

Other Features

You’ll also lose access to Business plan-only features, including timesheets, advanced reports, portfolio dashboards, and resource management tools. Your existing data will be retained, but you’ll need to upgrade to the Business plan again to access these features. We recommend exporting any important data before completing the downgrade.
