Downgrading to the Team Edition

When you downgrade from Business to Team, your account will switch to the features and usage limits included with the Team edition. This article explains which users, projects, integrations and features remain available.

Users

During the downgrade process, you’ll choose which users to deactivate if you have more than the Team edition allows. Deactivated users can be reactivated later, provided you remain within your user limit.

Projects

If you have more projects than the Team edition allows, excess projects will be deactivated automatically. Admins can reactivate these projects and deactivate others at any time, as long as the total number of active projects remains within the Team edition limit. No project data will be deleted.

Integrations

Integrations that are exclusive to the Business edition will stop working after the downgrade, but their existing data will not be deleted.

Other Features

You’ll also lose access to Business-only features such as timesheets, advanced reports, portfolio dashboards and resource management tools. Your existing data will be retained, but you’ll need to upgrade again to access these areas of the product. We recommend exporting this data before downgrading if it’s important to you.
