How to Generate a Timesheet Report
Segment your data and pull detailed information on your team's logged hours.

The timesheet report (located under Portfolio > Reports) lets you segment your data and pull detailed information on your team’s logged hours. You can even run your timesheet report with no hours logged. Only users with roles assigned will be able to log hours on the timesheet even though you can log hours for "none" roles in the project.
Accessing Timesheet Reports
Accounts with timesheet access will have the ability to generate a timesheet report. First, click on "portfolio" on the left-hand portion of your menu. Make sure that you've clicked on "reports" on the top menu as well.

This will take you to the general reports view where you can generate portfolio status reports, project plan reports, workload reports and more. Click on "timesheets" in the menu.

Customizable Elements
Here are the customizable elements of a timesheet report:
- Title: This is the name you wish to give the report. The default name is “timesheets.”
- Project: Choose the project you would like to see in the report. You can also choose to see all projects, non-project tasks and admin tasks.
- From: The earliest date that you would like to see in the report.
- To: The latest date you would like to see in the report.
- Group by: You can group by project, person, date or none. For example, if you choose project, the project names will be the header followed by the people.
- Report: You can run a "no time recorded" report to check on missing timesheets. If you select no time recorded, you will only see the project, person, date and individual hours columns, and all other columns will be hidden.
- Columns: Choose which columns you want to include in your report, including custom columns. You will see columns unique to this report such as approved by, approval status, etc. The notes column refers to notes made on the Timesheet.
- People: Choose which people should be included in the report. You can include everyone, all active users, or you can choose individual people.
This report can be previewed or exported to PDF, Microsoft Excel, or CSV as well as viewed offline. If you select the offline option, you'll be emailed the report. Feel free to print the report as necessary.
Once run, you'll see the hours logged per task for the users selected within the desired date range. You'll also see any columns that you choose to include.
