How to Restore a User

You may need to delete a user but you also may want to restore their access later on. We make this process easy so the team member can regain access right away.

Follow these steps to restore a previously active user:

  • Navigate to the manage users page and click the filter bar in the top right. You will uncheck the option to hide inactive people if not already unchecked.

  • Once the hide inactive button is unchecked, you will see all previously deleted people in gray. You can search for a user or find them from the list.

  • Click the three ellipses on the far left and activate the user. Once the user is activated, they will appear in color and you will be able to edit their profile if needed.

  • Success! The previously deactivated user now has access to the software and can login normally. You may want to check the option to hide inactive people so you don’t see deleted users on the manage users page. If you have any issues reactivating a user, email us at support@projectmanager.com.
