[Account Basics](https://learn.projectmanager.com/getting-started#account-basics) # Reduce User Count During Checkout: Purchasing Paid Licenses ## How to reduce user count if your trial has more users than the number of paid licenses you need. Let's say you have a trial for 6 users, but when your trial ends, you don't need to purchase all 6 licenses. When you click "buy now" in the upper right-hand corner, the purchase automatically populates for 20 users. ![Trial with 6 users buy now](https://learn.projectmanager.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Trial%20with%206%20users%20buy%20now.png?width=670&height=278&name=Trial%20with%206%20users%20buy%20now.png) If you choose a smaller number during checkout, we don't know which of the 6 users you want to remove from your workspace.
