If your task linking would cause a locked task to change, we now inform you and give you options of how to proceed. Released 9 June 2025 If you try to link to a locked task, in a way which would cause its dates to move, we will now show you a warning so you can decide what to do. This further protects your locked tasks from changing unexpectedly. If you have a task whose dates must not change, our locking feature now has you covered. This is designed to compliment our recent [Update Plan from Actuals](https://learn.projectmanager.com/release-132) feature, which allows you to automatically have planned dates update basted on today's actual progress, but is available for all users regardless of that setting.
