Release 161, AI Integrations

Our new MCP connection lets supported AI assistants securely access your ProjectManager account, so you can use natural language to find information and get work done with less copy and paste.

You can:

• Find projects and tasks - Ask what projects you manage, what tasks are due, who's assigned to work or what's coming up next.
• Create work - Create projects, tasks and subtasks, assign team members, set dates and priorities.
• Update tasks - Change task status or priority and reorganize tasks into subtasks.
• Understand your projects - Review project details, team members and attached files without hunting for the information yourself.

How teams are using it:

• Construction Project Manager - Ask Claude to show tasks due on a job this week, identify who's responsible and create follow-up tasks or adjust priorities for anything that needs attention.

• Professional Services Pre-Sales - Upload that new RFP to Claude to review the requirements, identify risks and build a realistic delivery plan. Once you have a clear approach, ask Claude to create the project, tasks, subtasks, dates and priorities in ProjectManager; ready to share with the customer.

• Professional Services Consultant - Start your day in ChatGPT by asking what work is assigned to you across client projects, then update priorities and task statuses as plans change.

• Manufacturing Project Manager - Ask ChatGPT to review upcoming work across your projects, identify what needs attention, and create a structured set of tasks and subtasks for a new production initiative.

This is a phased rollout, look out for an in-product announcement for when this is available to you, we have many more capabilities planned for these integrations in the near future.
