Connect ProjectManager to more AI tools with our general-purpose MCP server. Release date: 2 November 2026 ### Text Editor Improvements This release includes many quality-of-life improvements to the text editor used in the task description, comments and elsewhere. #### Main Enhancements - **Undo and redo edits:** Easily reverse mistakes or restore changes while editing. - **More reliable copy and paste:** Copying within or between ProjectManager editors preserves formatting, @mentions and paragraph breaks, without introducing unexpected indentation. Text pasted from other applications adapts to light or dark mode, avoiding hard-to-read text and highlight colours. - **Better bullet and numbered lists:** Improved indentation, nested lists and numbering. Pressing Enter creates the next list item more reliably, tab or shift+tab increases/decreases the indent as expected, and pressing Enter on an empty item moves out of that list level. Fixed an issue where lists could display HTML code instead of properly formatted text. - **Faster formatting with keyboard shortcuts:** Added shortcuts for headings, normal text, bullet lists, numbered lists and indentation. [See all shortcuts](https://learn.projectmanager.com/keyboard-shortcuts#editor). - **Simpler, better-sized headings:** Reduced oversized headings and simplified the menu to three heading levels. - **Keep your place while editing:** Clicking an empty area of the formatting toolbar no longer interrupts editing or clears your text selection. #### Attachments - **Open file previews directly from descriptions:** Preview supported attachments, including videos and PDFs, from the editor. Clicking a file’s name or thumbnail opens the same preview and the attachment removal button works as expected. - **Smoother file uploads:** Uploading a file no longer jumps you down to the attachments section, and upload notifications make it clearer that the upload is underway. - **Cleaner attachment appearance:** Clicking an embedded file no longer inverts its colours, and saving repeatedly no longer adds extra blank space beneath it. - **Image, video and PDF previews:** In case you missed it; we added new image, video and PDF previews to the editor in [release 163](https://learn.projectmanager.com/release-163). #### Space - **More room for comments:** The comment editor can now grow to twice its previous height, making longer messages easier to write and review. - **Read full task descriptions without expanding them:** Descriptions will appear in full without a “Show All” button or a separate scrolling area inside the task. - **Jump straight to attachments or subtasks:** Click the attachment or subtask count at the top of the task to go directly to that section and avoid scrolling all together. ### General-purpose MCP Server In addition to our [ChatGPT](https://learn.projectmanager.com/chatgpt) and [Claude](https://learn.projectmanager.com/claude) integrations, you can now connect ProjectManager to any agent which supports MCP. ### And More This release also includes many bug fixes and performance improvements.
