Release 122, Change Member Emails

With this update we've changed the way you can manage the email addresses of your team members, plus various performance and security improvements.

How it works

Simply open a member's profile from the Manage Users page and you will see an option to Change Email Address near the top.

Clicking this will allow you to enter the user's new email address.

The user will need to accept the email change and then log in with the new email.

Security and limitations

  • Take care when changing emails, they are the gateway to your workspace. Always double-check that the email address you're changing to is correct so you don't give a stranger access to your workspace.
  • Only managers, admins and global admins can change a member's email address. You can only change the email of other users with the same-or-lower role. Eg a manager can't change a global admin's email.
  • If your team log in via SAML then you won't have the option to change an email.

  • Project customers now supported via the API.
  • Fixed a bug where some users received multiple task description notifications.
