[Account Basics](https://learn.projectmanager.com/getting-started#account-basics) # How to Transfer Your Project Data to Another Account ## If you need to transfer your project data to another account, the easiest way to do so is using our export and import feature. There may be scenarios where you need to transfer your project data to another account. For example, you took a 30-day free trial of ProjectManager and now need to transfer your data into your organization’s paid account. ### Use the Import and Export Feature The easiest way to accomplish this is to [export your data and import](https://learn.projectmanager.com/export-and-import)it into the new account. We recommend exporting your data into an XML file for a seamless import. Once you have imported your project, be sure to give your[team members access to your projects](https://learn.projectmanager.com/en/how-to-give-and-remove-project-access) so they can view and edit them. ### Can I use the same email address for two accounts? If you create an account with us, your email address can only be used once. If you'd like to create another account with us, you’ll want to use another email address.
