Connect to Claude
Connect ProjectManager to Claude to ask what’s due, or turn an RFP, meeting notes or a plan into real projects and tasks, without copying between apps.
Set Up the Claude Connector
Claude calls their integrations Connectors. You can add one from any chat, or browse Claude's Connectors Directory. You'll need a ProjectManager account with access to this feature, guests cannot use it but all other users have access by default.
- Open Claude on the web or in the Claude Desktop app.
- In a chat, open Search and tools.
- Select Add connectors.
- Search for ProjectManager.
- Select ProjectManager and click Connect.
- You'll be redirected to ProjectManager to authorize the connection.
- Sign in using your normal ProjectManager login method if required.
- Review the requested access and approve the connection.
- Return to Claude. ProjectManager is now available as a connector.
Claude uses an OAuth flow for remote connectors, so you can grant access without sharing your ProjectManager password with Claude.
If ProjectManager doesn't appear in the connector search, or you can't connect, check your Claude plan and organization settings. On a managed Team or Enterprise account, your Claude workspace owner may need to enable access first.
Use ProjectManager in a Claude Conversation
Once connected, there is nothing extra to type. Ask Claude to use information from ProjectManager, or to take an action there, in normal language. For example:
Show me the ProjectManager tasks due on the Riverside Construction project this week and highlight anything high priority.
Or continue from work already happening in the conversation:
Create the project plan we just developed in ProjectManager and organize the work into tasks and subtasks.
Claude manages connector access automatically for most conversations. To check that ProjectManager is available in a particular chat:
- Select the + button in the lower-left corner of the conversation, or type /.
- Open Connectors.
- Make sure ProjectManager is available for the conversation.
Claude also has Tool access controls that determine how connectors are loaded and used in individual conversations. Auto is the default, and lets Claude choose the right connector based on what you ask.
Once a remote connector is connected to your Claude account, it can be available across supported Claude surfaces without setting it up again on each device.
